Cube Project
After a venture to 30th St Station to explore the act of basic diagramming, The creation of study models utilizing seperate materials and different techniques utilized the principles of frame, plane, and volume. After identifying seperate elements, a hierarchy became evident and resulted in a compilation of spatial operations such as piercing, layering, and framing.

Series of study models made of chipboard employing scoring, intersecting, and folding.
Drawings offset by important areas of intervention and places of rest or movement with section perspectives adding an experiential element to the pier.

Pier Project
My first challenge was to employ phenomenal transparency by creating a collage with depth of field. This depth of field evolved into a 3rd dimension by creating several study models through different techniques out of a small piece of chipboard. Lastly, the project was pushed into the idea of an experiential pier, as I addied interventions to lead a visitor through the pier while introducing water at every turn, and abandoning the city atmosphere for the sights and sounds of moving water.
